Hey everyone. I just got the estimates back for how much it will cost for each copy of the book. Right now, it's about 10$. I continue to try to talk him down. lol So, for right now, I'm going to begin taking orders for the book, but they won't be shipped out until after all the covers are in and the winner has been announced. Until then, send me a note with your name, and I will put you on the list to recieve a copy. Remember, the artist of each chosen cover gets a free copy of the book.

P.S. If you would like to have anything written in your copy, just put your request into the note. Who knows, I might be coaxed into adding a secret scene ^_-

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Four months! Wow!!! Well, I'm back, and I'm here to offer all you artists who read my story "The SoulKeeper" a chance to appear as its cover artist. I'm in desperate need of an artist to design the cover of both the SoulKeeper and The Grim Reaper. So, I'm holding a contest.

The rules are this:
1.) The picture must feature the title of the book. After all, what's a cover story without a title? Also, it must feature my pen name, Bela Valentine.

2.) It must represent the story in some way. Whether its Belle and Sin in a passionate embrace or a beautiful picture or illustration that you connect with the story (for this catagory, you must include a detailed summary of why you connect this image with the story). For the Grim Reaper covers, I would like a title featuring a female grim reaper. I'll provide a description of Elizabeth, the heroine of the next story.

3.) I must be allowed to use it for the title page for all of the advanced reader copies. So I have to have your permission to use it, but I will of course credit it to you.

4.) Entries must be submitted by August 31st. I would like to begin printing copies off as soon as possible. After all, I already have 5 chapters of "The Grim Reaper" written that I can't put up because it would ruin the end of "The SoulKeeper."

Please, as soon as your entries are completed, send me a note with the link in the note. I would appreciate it, as this allows me to easily judge the winner. The winner will be given both an advanced readers copy for free and a sneak peek at the next story.

The Description of Elizabeth:
His chair spun around and he found himself eye to eye with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He waist was narrow and her legs stretched on to forever. She was dressed in a light silk minidress and heels that could prove deadly should the men that were staring at the goddess fall at her feet. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of grey, but were cold and empty, like a murder victims eyes would be. Her lush, pink lips opened to speak. "I want to know why you speak of such thinkgs negligently."

Henry couldn't speak. A warmth he hadn't felt in two hundred years was forming in his stomach. His lungs contracted painfully. A clarity he hadn't reached since he had realized what he had become drifted over him.

The goddess, obviously impatient, grabbed him by the collar and drug him out of the club and into a back alley. She threw him up against the wall and reached into a purse she had slung over her shoulder. At first, Henry thought she was pulling out a gun, but instead she pulled out a long metal tube that vaguely resembled a lightsaber. She snapped her wrist down at the same time she pressed a small button on the side of the tube. The silver piece elongated and curved, forming a long handle, where the opposite end of the tube erupted in a red light that formed a scythe. She gracefully swung this massive weapon and hooked the end of the end of the blade around his neck. He could feel the heat of it blister his skin.

"Talk, ShadowWalker." She growled, and even threatning him, she was the sexiest thing he had ever seen. And it was then that Henry realized that he had found his SoulKeeper.

The Bad News first:
I'm going to stop posting "The SoulKeeper" (AKA For the Love of a Vampire) on here. Chapter 13 will be the last chapter I put up.

The Good News:
I'm completely finished with the book!!!!! Ending and everything. I'm also in the process of getting it published. So, I'm looking for a cover artist. Consider it a contest. Entry's will be posted on this journal every so often, and I want your votes via note.

The Truly Fantastic News:
I'm now taking orders for copies of the book. I'll be sending out advanced reader copies to anyone who wants them. Just send me your real name, and I'll send you my address for a check for a portion of the publishing price and shipping charges. (I'm not greedy, I swear). It may be a while though, so I'll post when I have the copies in a box in my room. Also, if you want anything written on the inside of your book, let me know.

Still don't know when Chapter 11 is going to be posted, but I hope it'll be soon!

What this message is really about is that I had a bolt of inspiration hit last night. I'm going to make "For the Love of A Vampire" into a trilogy by that title. I'm going through now, and all chapters will now be titled "The SoulKeeper," the first book in the trilogy. The second will be "The Grim Reaper," the third "The World's Weeper." Yes, I did purposely make them rhyme, though the third title is subject to change. I've already started on book two, though book one still isn't completely thought out. I'm a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of writer. I'll let you know soon.

More excitingly, hopefully, is that I'll be posting the backs that are going to be submitted when I send them in for publishing soon. Each book will get their own folder in my gallery, with cover art, back summary, and each chapter included. Chapters will only be posted to Fifteen though. Why would you go buy the book if you could read it online, after all? I hope you guys don't hate me for that.
